19th, from 5 pm to 9 pm, and any of both days until the closing time of
the choosen route (except the 30 km route of October 21st), in the
Complex Esportiu Municipal Trinitat Vella.
The payment of the inscription fees will be made when collecting the Route form.
Important:
If, after making the inscription, the walker wants to change something,
s/he never has to make a new inscription. S/he has to send an email to caminba@euro-senders.com , explaining what change has to be made, including his/her personal data.
Fees
3 € per person if the registration is made via internet
5 € if the registration is made personally.
It includes: the participation in both days' routes,
revictuallings along the routes, and the needed documents to make the
walks.
Routes
There are 3 marked
routes each day, what allows the walker to choose between three
different distances: 10, 20, 30 km (+/- 1 km).
Beginning and End: Complex Esportiu Municipal Trinitat Vella (for all the routes), near the Parc de la Trinitat.
The 30 km route on October 20th from 7am to 8am.
The 30 km route on October 21st, from 7 am to 7:30am (buses leave from
Parc de la Trinitat, in front of the metro station).
The 20 km routes, from 7 am to 9 am.
The 10 km routes, at 9 am (all the participants begin together) (Barnatresc).
End time: Each day, all the routes will end at 05:00 pm.
Track and weather conditions
Description
of the tracks (road, landscape)
All the routes combine urban and non-urban sections of different lengths. In some of the
routes, the accumulated drops (up and down) are important. Consult the
drops profile that can be found in the map of each route.
Good care
There will be
health assistance for the walkers at the beginning/end of the route and
along each one. There will be ambulances, too, to support them.
Entertainment
It will take place in the Complex Esportiu
Municipal Trinitat Vella, between 12am and 2pm on both days. There will
be several popular and traditional shows.
Weather
Bad weather conditions and rain will not make
cancel or postpone the walk. But, if there is any really important
cause, even at the last time, routes or sections of them can be
cancelled or modified.
Souvenir - award
There will be a
medal for those walkers who: have covered two 20 km routes; have
covered one 20 km route and one 30 km route; or those who have covered
both 30 km routes. To get the medal, it is necessary to hand over the
route form with the proves of having been in all the established
controls.
Every day, at the
end, all the walkers who have covered the 20 km route or the 30 km
route will have a diploma. To get it, it is necessary to hand over the

Transport
The
inscription to the 30 km route of October 21st includes an extra
payment of 3 € to cover the bus transport between the Parc de la
Trinitat and Coll de Sant Bartomeu (Orrius). This payment must have
been made before October 20th at 9 am.
Buses to Coll de Sant Bartomeu (Orrius) will leave between 7 am and 7:30 am from the Parc de la Trinitat.

Tourist information about
the surroundings
It is a walk by the
city of Barcelona and its surrounding area, where everybody can
participate. It has international echo, in order to let everybody know
the wonderful beauties and particularities of the city of Barcelona.
The main goal is to have two kinds
of routes: the “Llobregat routes”, that are the routes that have been
present in the CIB in the previous years, and the “Besòs routes”, a new
collection of routes in the other side of the city. We desire to
alternate those routes, one kind a year, the other the next year, in
order to be able to offer a bigger variety to the participants.
The
International Walk of Barcelona, a non-competitive walk, is a good
excuse to get health, alone or with friends, and to rediscover our
city.
