Track and weather conditions
 Description
of the tracks (road, landscape)
The track of the Gilboa march crosses the Gilboa woods and
nature reserve of the Gilboa. Throughout the track will be
stations overlooking beautiful spots, Explanations on the
panorama, archeology, geology, history etc. will be given.
Mount Hermon 2,500 meters about Sea level on the frontier
of Syria, Lebanon and Israel is seen while walking the track.
The Gilboa mountain in Jordan east to Gillboa is seen while
walking along the track.
Good care
Free medical aid stations at start/finish point and along
the course.
The organizers provide free citrus fruit and water.
Cakes, sandwiches, juice and other light drinks could be purchased
at the start/finish and along the route of walking
Entertainment
At the end of the March on Saturday there will be a festive
ceremony and trophies will be given to the outstanding groups.
Dancing groups will give artistic programs.
Weather
The month of March & April is spring in Israel and the
weather is good. Average day time is 20°c. Average night
time temperature is 12°C.
Souvenir - award
Every participant who marches the full two days receives a
special medal and certificate, also a shirt and sheath for
cards.

- by buses:
from Ben-Gurion Airport bus to Tel-Aviv central station, from
Tel-Aviv to Afula City "Egged" bus no. 823, 825,
830, 835.
From Afula "Kavim" bus no. 412 to Gidona on mountain
Gilboa.
