Track and weather conditions

Description of tracks (road,landscape)
The weekend will include a choice of 5,10,15, 25 and 42 kilometer
routes for walkers and 25 and 42 kilometer routes for cyclists,
giving everyone an opportunity to sample different parts of
local countryside on Saturday and Sunday. Walkers use a combination
of footpaths and roads visiting picturesque villages and rolling
typically English countryside. Special 25 Km & 42 Km All
Road Routes are available for Cyclists & Walkers (See website
for Start Times).
Good care
There is food and drink available at The Castle and at various
Control Points on the routes.
Entertainment
There is FREE entertainment at The Castle and on the routes
for all ages.
Weather
It is springtime and normally the weather is good, however,
English Weather is unpredictable and can change without warning.
Average daytime temperature is around 13 degrees Celsius.

Souvenir - award
Each participant who pays for medals at Registration will
be awarded the appropriate ribbon, medal and/or badge.
Ribbons are awarded for distance (5km white/green,
10km green/white, 15 km White/Red/Green/Black Stripes, 25km
white/red, 41km red/white).
One day medals are attached to the appropriate
distance ribbon.
Two day medals are awarded to participants
completing the same distance on both days.
Each year a year badge is added to the ribbon
and the medal replaced every 5 years..
