Regular registration in advance on the website:
CHF 30 for adults
CHF 15 for juniors (age from 7 to 17)
CHF 10 for children (age less than 7)
The registration fee has to be paid in advance.
Late registration on the 1st day of the event:
Each day routes of 40
km, 30 km, 20 km and 10 km are available. You select
the desired distance per day.
The routes lead into the
beautiful blooming countryside around Bern. Enjoy eye catchers along the road
like farm houses and the old town of Bern (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Good care
Free medical aid
stations are available at the start/finish point, toilets are available at the
control points on the routes.
You can buy cakes,
sandwiches and drinks at the start/finish point and along the routes.
Entertainment
On Friday evening, there
will be an opening ceremony, and at the end of the march on Saturday, there will
be music in the finish area for a cosy get-together.
Weather
During the march, the
weather is usually dry and warm but occasionally it may be rainy. The
temperature is typically in the range from 9 to 20 degrees celsius.
Award
/ Souvenirs
Medals, ribbons and
badges as well as other souvenirs can be bought on location. Some of these items
differ depending on the number of years the participant has taken part in the
'Swiss 2 Days March'.

These awards are
available at the IML and IVV desks.
Start and Finish

Transport
From Zurich Airport to Bern Main Station it takes approximately 1,5 hours and
from Geneva Airport to Bern Main Station it takes approximately 2,5 hours by
train.
At Bern Main Station, you can change to a local train to the railway station
' Bern,
Wankdorf ' or change to the tramway number 9 to the station
'Wankdorfplatz'.
Awards and Souvenirs
Every walker having completed the 'Swiss 2 Days March' with a minimum distance
of 10 km per day receives an award.
Every walker participating for the first, fifth, tenth, 20th, 25th,
30th, 35th and 50th time gets a medal.
Furthermore, every civilian walker gets a pin with the number of marches he or
she has completed and every walker in uniform gets a pin in shape of a helmet
with the number of marches he or she has completed.
Owners of IML and / or IVV passports get awards according to the respective
regulations.
